304H has 18–20 % chromium, 8–11 % nickel, and 0.04–0.10 % carbon for increased creep strength. It offers tensile strength 515–750 MPa, yield strength 205 MPa, and elongation ≥40 %. The alloy is resistant to mechanical instability and corrosion due to long exposure to heat.
