Mechanical properties are 620 MPa tensile strength, 310 MPa yield strength, and 40% elongation. The alloy is ductile and tough under cyclic conditions of heating and cooling. Its high chromium and nickel content provides even better corrosion resistance in environments having sulfur compounds and oxidizing agents.
