The pipes possess a tensile strength of around 515 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and elongation of 40%. The alloy possesses good low-temperature toughness and exhibits excellent resistance to atmospheric as well as mild chemical corrosion. The high nickel content of the alloy allows it to be used for deep-drawn operations without excessive hardening, providing dimensional stability as well as easy fabricability in the manufacturing process.
